The OPC condemns the ongoing military operation in the southeast

A former minister of education and co-convener of the #BringBackOurGirls (#BBOG) campaign, Oby Ezekwesili, has hit back at the presidency for accusing her of been silent on the violent propaganda being propagated by the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

NAIJ.com had reported that the presidency on Thursday, September 14, advised Oby Ezekwesili, to demonstrate a great sense of responsibility in the face of national security challenges posed by the IPOB.

The senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, in a Facebook post faulted the former minister for criticising the government’s decision to deploy troops to the southeast.

The presidential spokesperson questioned why Ezekwesili lost her voice while IPOB supporters attacked non-indigenes in the southeast.

But in response, the former minister in a tweet on Thursday, September 14, described the presidential spokesman as the model of incompetency.

Ezekwesili said Garba Shehu’s incompetency is legendary.

She further told the presidential aide that his predecessor once called her “psychological terrorists” for asking their government to lead.
